Unidata THREDDS Data Server (TDS)
The Unidata THREDDS Data Server (TDS) is a middleware server that provides access to scientific data via a variety of protocols. It organizes data in catalogs, which can include extensive metadata about datasets, such as data types, formats, and access URLs. The TDS catalogs can be static or dynamically generated, and allow inclusion of metadata from other standards like FGDC, Dublin Core, and DIF.
