Important Dates and Information The Georgia Legislative Session begins on Monday, January 10th.February 18, 2022, is the requested deadline for Election Offices to update the voter registration system with redistricting changes.  This request is being made to ensure all voters are in the correct districts in time for qualifying the week of March 7, 2022. According to the 2020 Census, Our region population increased by 2.4386% from 2010 to 2020. Population figures for 2010 were 406,583 and for 2020 was 416,498. That's an increase of 9,915 people. Our state population increased by 10.6% from 2010 to 2020. Population figures for 2010 were 9,687,653 and for 2020 was 10,711,908. That's an increase of 1,024,255 people. The U.S. population increased by 10.1% from 2010 to 2020. Population figures for 2010 were 308,745,538 and for 2020 was 331,449,281. That's an increase of 22,703,743 people.
