Understanding What Makes Our Community Unique Esri Tapestry Segmentation is a behavioral market segmentation for U.S. neighborhoods which are classified into 67 unique segments, based on demographics and socioeconomic characteristics. For a broader view, segments are summarized by 14 LifeMode groups and six urbanization groups. Highland Village is included in LifeMode 1 – Affluent Estates. Floodplain Information Flooding in Highland Village mostly comes from Lake Lewisville and several small tributaries but also from other sources. In fact, 49% of all flood claims come OUTSIDE the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). Even though flash flood events in North Texas are most common during the months of May and June, the potential for flooding is present throughout the year and can affect nearly every person in Highland Village.
